"The perfect place for industrial development"

Welcome to The Town of Medley

Town of Medley Future Municipal Service Building

The Town of Medley, named after its founder, Sylvester Medley, was incorporated in 1949. In the late 1960’s, this primarily industrial town had grown to include about 325 light-to-heavy industries, while its population increased to more than 250 residents.

Today Medley, which now occupies eight square miles in northwest Miami-Dade County, is proud of its over 1800 businesses and approximately 1500 permanent residents. During business hours the working population grows well over 50,000, which is why Medley has received recognition as the largest-growing industrial community in the Greater Miami-Dade County area.

Just minutes away from Miami International Airport and Opa-Locka Executive Airport, with access to major expressway connectors, as well as railroads, (especially the FEC Railroad freight line and sidings, serving many Medley businesses along its tracks), and home to the newly constructed Palmetto Metrorail Station which connects to 21 other metrorail stations within the county, The Town of Medley is conveniently located to all forms of transportation which is why it attracts businesses of all types and makes Medley the perfect place for industrial development.
