Town Attorney Michael Pizzi has 30 years' experience in municipal law. Mr. Pizzi has experienced government law and practice from every conceivable angle.
After graduating First in his Class from the University of Miami Law School where he served on the Law Review, Mr. Pizzi served as a Councilman and Mayor of Miami Lakes, Chair of the Miami-Dade County Annexation and Incorporation Task Force and as a Member of the Community Council and Zoning board. Mr. Pizzi also represented numerous cities and served as a City Attorney and Deputy City Attorney.
In his private practice, Mr. Pizzi has practiced land use and development and appeared before dozens of City Commissions and Zoning Boards. He has also represented clients in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, Civil Rights, the Florida Sunshine and Public records laws, and tried dozens of cases to jury verdict.
Mr. Pizzi participated in drafting much of Medley's current municipal code.
